John Kelly is a pioneer in British and European fundraising. He is President of Mira Kelly Ltd and a Founder Member of the MIRA Partnership of fundraising consultancies. Previously he was the first Director of Regent's College (now University), London. As a fundraising and management consultant he has advised clients throughout the world, spanning all levels of education, the arts and cultural sector, and charities/voluntary organisations of many kinds. With several articles on fundraising published in professional journals, he was also the editor/principal author of Boosting University Income, first published in 1984. John is a member of the Council of the University of Sheffield. He has also been a Board member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) in North America and is a former Chair of EUconsult – the European Association of Consultants to not for profit organisations.
